Hiring
We hire slowly,
and rarely.
Twelve people is the size we want to be. When we do open a role it matters, so the process is thorough and we take our time.
There is no take-home test designed to fill a weekend. You'll have two conversations and one paid half-day working on something real with the people you'd sit beside. If we say no, you'll hear why.
Three openings
Roles open
right now.
Nothing fits but you think we should know you exist? Write anyway — we keep good letters on file and revisit them.
What you get
Benefits we'd
actually brag about.
No ping-pong table, no "unlimited" holiday that nobody dares take.
32 days off, enforced
Plus public holidays. The minimum is tracked, not the maximum — if you're under 25 days by October we'll ask why.
Four-day weeks in August
Full pay, every August since 2021. Client work is planned around it rather than squeezed into it.
£2,000 learning budget
Yours to spend without a business case. Conferences, courses, books, a font licence — whatever moves your craft.
Remote, genuinely
Two anchor days in London a month if you're nearby; fully remote otherwise. Travel is covered.
Private health & therapy
Cover from day one, partners included, with a separate allowance for counselling that doesn't touch the main policy.
One studio week a quarter
No client work. Build the tool, write the piece, learn the thing. Half of what we publish starts there.
Hiring process
Three steps,
about two weeks.
We tell you where you stand after each one, usually within forty-eight hours.
A conversation
Forty-five minutes with whoever leads the discipline. No slides from you, no trick questions from us.
A paid half-day
Real work, alongside the team, at your normal day rate. You see how we work; we see how you think.
An offer, or a reason
Decision within two days. If it's a no, you get specifics rather than a template.
