Terms of service

Template placeholder. These terms are a drafting starting point, not legal advice. Have a solicitor adapt them to your business before you publish.

Using this site

You're welcome to read, link to and share anything here. Please don't attempt to disrupt the site, scrape it at a rate that affects other visitors, or use it to distribute anything unlawful.

Intellectual property

The written content, visual design and code on this site belong to us unless stated otherwise. Quoting a passage with attribution is fine. Republishing a page wholesale, or reusing the design as your own, is not.

Third-party libraries used here keep their own licences, which are listed in the project's documentation.

Client engagements

Nothing on this site is a contract or a binding quote. Prices shown are indicative and depend on scope. Every engagement runs on a separate signed agreement that sets out deliverables, timeline, ownership of work and how either side can end it.

On completion and final payment, ownership of the deliverables transfers to you, except for any pre-existing tools or components we licence to you rather than assign.

Payment terms

  • A deposit reserves the slot and is non-refundable once work begins
  • Remaining fees are invoiced monthly against delivered work
  • Invoices are payable within fourteen days
  • Late payment may pause work and accrue statutory interest

Liability

This site is provided as it is. We take care over its accuracy but don't warrant that it is complete or error-free, and we're not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from using it.

Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Where we link out, we're pointing at something we found useful. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

Changes to these terms

We may update this page from time to time. The date at the top always reflects the current version, and continuing to use the site means you accept it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. Replace this with your own jurisdiction before publishing.
